The federal shutdown has ended. However, many families are still facing uncertainty – especially federal contractors who are unlikely to receive back pay. The need for food remains high as neighbors work to recover and prepare for the holidays.

I'd like to get involved! How do I sign up to volunteer?
We welcome volunteers! Whether you want to volunteer individually or with a group, we can definitely use your help. Head over to www.feedingal.org/volunteer/ and there are instructions on how to sign up. You can also host your own fund drive or food drive! We would love to partner with you. Can I change my donation amount or payment method?
Yes! When you make your donation, create a GoFundMe Pro profile, and you will be able to manage your donations easily. You will also see your donation history.
What do you do with my information?
We treat your donor information seriously. We will never sell or give out any of your information. We store your information on a secure platform, and we respect the desire to not be contacted! We may send out a periodic newsletter or keep you updated on what's going on at the CFB, but all communication will be limited and unobtrusive.

We are so proud to report that 94% of every dollar goes directly to putting food in the hands of our neighbors in central Alabama. Thanks to donations, grants, and partnerships, every dollar is able to go further.
